Walks Programme

The walks below are shown in weekly tables running from Saturday to Friday.
They include reference to Coach Outings and Holidays, although there are separate links in the Index for these, and, clicking on the coach or holiday icon in the tables brings up the appropriate programme extra to the walks programme.
Further, a walk may have more information usually in a 'pdf' file obtained by clicking on 'Click here'.

All walks have a leader who has a map or just knows the way.

Ensure you familarise yourself with the following:
• Reminders
• Venue abbreviations used in walks programme
• Walk Codes
• Grid References

MULTIMAP CHANGES
Map Style
Multimap have improved their maps but the map produced from clicking on the Grid Reference may not be an OS one.
If you get "Map" and a Chevron ">" on your map click the chevron and you can choose a Tele Atlas or an OS map as pictured above by clicking on the words (Tele Atlas or Ordnance Survey).
I'll have to study this more to understand the full ramifications of multimaps improved service.
For further reading click on Multimap's (Help and Support) "FAQ", then under "Search Tips" click on "Ordnance Survey maps on the new Multimap site".
