LIFTS If a Leader is willing to give a lift to a walk it is your responsibility to agree a pick-up point convenient and close to him/her, and to be there at the appointed time. Please do not be late and expect your driver to wait. Only contact a Leader about a lift if there is a C L (in the member's printed programme) after his or her name. The walk organisers do not arrange lifts. It is suggested that £3 be offered towards the cost of petrol on a standard journey. The Rambler's Aassociation Lawyers have advised that this does not invalidate insurance.
